Booking a Walk

Book a One-Time Walk

To book a walk:

  • On the homepage, click the Wag! Walk icon at the top of your screen →
  • Choose your walk length →
  • Choose if you want to Schedule the walk for a future date or time, or ASAP→
  • For a scheduled walk, choose the day and time→
  • Tell us how the walker should enter your house→
  • Write any notes about your pup for your walker →
  • Write any Access Notes to prepare your walker →
  • Add your credit card (Don’t worry, your first walk is free, we just need a credit card on file in the event you tip your walker!) →
  • Your walk is booked! You’ll receive a notification when a walker is confirmed.

Booking a Recurring Walk

To book a recurring walk:

  • On the home screen, click the Weekly Walks icon at the top of your screen →
  • Choose the start date, the time of day, length of the walk, and which days of the week you want this walk to occur on (the more days, the bigger the discount!) →
  • Choose if your pup is a “Friendly Furball”, who can match with multiple top-rated walkers, or a “Picky Pooch”, who prefers only specific walkers for their walks →
  • Tell your walker how they can enter your house→
  • Write any notes about your pup for your walker →
  • Write any additional Access Notes →
  • Add your credit card (for first-time users) →
  • Your walk is booked! You’ll receive a notification when a walker is confirmed.

Booking a Boarding

Book a Boarding Service

To book a boarding:

  • On the homepage, click the Overnight icon at the top of your screen →
  • Choose whether you would like to book a boarding or sitting service →
  • Choose the start and end time/date→
  • Enter the scheduling information and information about your dog →
  • From the provided list, check all preferences that apply →
  • Check to make sure the start and end time/date are correct →
  • Click Book Boarding →  
  • Add your credit card (if applicable)  →

Your boarding is booked! You’ll receive a notification when a boarder is confirmed.

Booking a Sitting

Booking a Sitting Service

To book a sitting:

  • On the homepage, click the Overnight icon at the top of your screen →
  • Choose whether you would like to book a boarding or sitting service →
  • Choose the start and end time/date→
  • Enter the scheduling information and information about your dog →
  • From the provided list, check all preferences that apply →
  • Check to make sure the start and end time/date are correct →
  • Click Book Sitting →  
  • Add your credit card (if applicable) →

Your sitting is booked! You’ll receive a notification when a sitter is confirmed.

Canceling a Walk

Cancel a Walk

To cancel a walk:

  • On the bottom of the home screen, you’ll see your upcoming walks →
  • Click the specific walk you’d like to cancel →
  • Click “Edit Walk” in the top right corner →
  • Select the “Cancel Walk” button at the bottom of the page →
  • Choose whether you want to “Reschedule”, “Keep as is”, or “Cancel Walk” →
  • If you’d like to cancel your walk, click “Cancel Walk”, and you’re all set!  

Please note that if you cancel your walk within 24 hours of your scheduled service, you’ll incur a $10 cancellation fee. To avoid a cancellation fee, reschedule your walk instead of canceling it.

Editing a Walk

Edit a Walk

To edit a walk:

  • On the bottom of the home screen, you will see your upcoming walks →
  • Click the specific walk you’d like to edit →
  • Click “Edit Walk” in the top right →
  • Edit the information that you want to change →
  • Click “Save Changes” at the bottom of the screen and you’re all set!

Please note if your scheduled walker can’t accommodate these changes, we’ll find another great walker to walk your pup.

Rescheduling a Walk

Reschedule a Walk

To reschedule a walk:

  • On the bottom of the home screen, you’ll see your upcoming walks →
  • Click the specific walk you’d like to reschedule →
  • Click on “Edit Walk” in the top right corner →
  • Edit the time and day to your desired schedule →
  • Click “Save Changes” at the bottom of the screen and you’re all set!

Please note, if your scheduled walker can’t accommodate these changes, we’ll find another great walker to walk your pup.

Cancellation Fees

Rebooking/Cancellation Fee Waived

In the event that you need to cancel your walk within 24 hours of the scheduled time, the cancellation fee can be waived if you reschedule for a future date/time!


To reschedule:

  • On the bottom of the home screen, you’ll see your upcoming walks →
  • Click the specific walk you’d like to reschedule →
  • Click on “Edit Walk” in the top right corner →
  • Edit the time and day to your desired schedule →
  • Click “Save Changes” at the bottom of the screen and you’re all set!

Please note if your scheduled walker can’t accommodate these changes, we’ll find another great walker to walk your pup.  

Cancellation Policy

Walks: In the event that you need to cancel a walk, a $10 cancellation fee will be applied if the walk is canceled within 24 hours of the scheduled service. If the walk is canceled more than 24 hours in advance, there will be no cancellation fee.


Overnight Services: In the event you need to cancel a boarding or sitting, a $25 cancellation fee will be applied if the boarding or sitting is canceled within 24 hours of the scheduled service. If the boarding or sitting is canceled more than 24 hours in advance, there will be no cancellation fee.  


Daycare: In the event you need to cancel a daycare, a $25 cancellation fee will be applied if the service is canceled within 24 hours of the scheduled service. If the daycare is canceled more than 24 hours in advance, there will be no cancellation fee.
