You can add notes about your dog in the Profile section of the app. The Notes section is the best way to communicate with your walker about your pup’s needs. For your home access notes, we recommend that you add them to the “Access Notes” section when booking your walk. The notes from each previous walk will automatically populate so you only have to put in your home access notes once.

To update your access notes, change the appropriate information when booking your next walk. The updated information will automatically populate when booking future walks.

Walk Related Notes
In addition to general notes, you also have the option to add notes when booking a walk, boarding or sitting. We encourage you to use this space to write anything else you want your walker to know about a specific walk. Every pup is unique so this is a great way to make sure your walk is personalized to your pup’s needs.
To update your vet information:
Go to your profile in the app →
Scroll down to the bottom of the page to view “Vet Name” and “Vet Phone Number” →
Click on whichever section you need to update →
Update the relevant information, and you’re all set!
You must always keep this information up to date. In the case of health concerns, it’s best to reach out to your vet.
After your pup has completed a walk, you will have the option to mark the walker as a preferred walker. Preferred walkers are notified when a walk with your pup is available. The preferred walkers option is great for pups who want to see familiar faces on their walks!
Please note that setting a preferred walker does not guarantee that walker will be able to fill your walk request, but it lets them know when a walk with your pup is available.
Adding a Preferred Walker
To add a preferred walker:
Go to your Past Walkers/Walks tab in your sidebar →
Click on the Walkers tab →
Put a heart by the names of the walkers you want to be set as preferred →
You’re all set!
Once a walk is complete, you’ll receive a report card including a photo, notes, total walk length and time, as well as confirmation that your pup has been safely returned. At this point, you can rate and tip your walker based on your experience. You can also give your walker a badge for a job well done! There are six different badges you can award your walker:
Above and Beyond: Walker went the extra mile for your pup!
Excellent Report Card: Walker left a fun and informative report card.
Extra Caring: Walker made sure your pup got some extra TLC!
Follows Instructions: Walker did a great job at following instructions.
Great Distance: Walker was able to cover a lot of ground during the walk.
Strong Walker: Walker was able to handle larger/energetic dog breeds.
Click on “Add Card” in the top right-hand corner →
Add your credit card number, expiration date, and CVV →
Click “Save”. You’re all set!

Account Credits/Promo Code
You can see how many Wag! Credits you have available in the “Payments” tab.
To add a promo code:
Go to the “Payments” tab in the sidebar→
Click “Apply a Promo Code” →
Enter the Promo Code →
Click “Apply”. You’re all set!
If you receive an error message when redeeming a code, please check that you meet all the requirements to use the promo code.
To cancel an auto-refill on a credit package:
Click the Wag! Logo in the app →
Go to your Profile →
At the bottom of the page, click “Settings” →
Toggle the auto-refill button to off →
You’re all set!

Cancellations within 24 hours of your walk schedule will incur a $10 cancellation fee.
Cancellations more than 24 hours in advance do NOT incur a cancellation fee.
When you refer a new user to the platform, you will receive a free walk (20 credits) once they complete their first free walk! There is no limit to the amount of credits you can earn for referrals completing their first free walk.
To invite a new user to the platform:
On the homepage, in the top right-hand corner, click on the yellow “FREE walks!” button →
There you will be able to send invites directly to your contacts or copy your unique link to send to new users →
Once the new user has taken their first free walk, you will receive 20 credits to use towards a free walk!
